With Avena Sativa products you will find D-potencies in most cases. D stands for the Latin word decem (ten). This means that the mother tincture is diluted in a ratio of 1:9. The number to the letter stands for the frequency of "shaking". In this process, the vial is struck vigorously ten times on an elastic base in the direction of the centre of the earth.

The processing procedure is supposed to give homeopathic remedies a strong healing power. It is therefore assumed that higher potencies of homeopathic medicines have a stronger effect. Self-medication is not advisable with high potencies. They should only be prescribed by an experienced doctor or homeopath.

Dosage

Avena Sativa products are usually used as mother tinctures or in low potencies. Low potencies from about D6 to D12 are suitable for self-medication. There are also products in tablet form and as globules.

Dosage form
