The drill diameter determines how big the holes are that you can cut out with your circle cutter.
You should therefore make sure that the drill diameter, which varies depending on the manufacturer, guarantees you a flexible range of applications. Therefore, before you buy, think carefully about the work you will use your circle cutter for.
With a drill diameter of 3 to 300 mm, you are guaranteed flexible application possibilities.
American manufacturers often specify the drill diameter in inches. It is therefore good to know that one inch corresponds to 2.54 cm.
The best adjustability is provided by circular cutters that are infinitely variable and can therefore be individually adjusted.
The big advantage is that you can always adjust a continuously adjustable circle cutter to your desired size with millimetre precision. The cutters can be moved freely over the arms of the circle cutter and can be tightened at the desired position.

In addition, you must always make sure that the blades of your circular cutter are well fastened. If the screws come loose, there is a risk of injury when working.
