In addition to the distance range, you should pay attention to the accuracy of the cross line laser. More precisely, the levelling accuracy. The levelling accuracy indicates the horizontal and vertical deviation.

The deviation always refers to a distance of 10 metres. This information can vary greatly between different manufacturers and models. Accordingly, you should pay particular attention to this criterion.

Basically, the smaller the specified deviation, the better your final result. You should make sure that the specified deviation does not exceed 5 millimetres over 10 metres.
