Compatibility is a very important criterion that you should definitely consider. Otherwise, you may end up buying a quick charger that does not fit your device.

  • Lightning: This connector was developed by Apple and is built into every Apple smartphone developed after 2012

Number of USB ports

The number of USB ports determines how many devices you can connect to the fast charger. So if you have several electrical devices that can be charged with a fast charger, you should consider buying a fast charger with several USB ports.

As mentioned earlier, you should pay special attention to the wattage of fast chargers with multiple USB ports. After all, more devices require more power.

So think about how many USB ports you need for your purposes and be aware that you can only charge one device with a wireless fast charger.

What can I do if my quick charger no longer charges quickly?

  • Step 1: Check your power source. It is possible that a socket or multi-plug is defective. If your quick charger is not getting enough or any power at all, it will not be able to fulfil its potential. So use a different socket or multi-plug to check if this is the problem.
  • Step 2: Check your fast charger. You may have accidentally purchased a fast charger that does not have a fast charging function or is not compatible with your device.
  • Step 3: Check your device. Maybe your device is outdated or defective? Use a different charger and see if the problem persists. If so, it is quite possible that your device is responsible.

If you have completed all three steps and your fast charger still charges slowly, your fast charger is probably faulty. Unfortunately, this leaves you with only two options. Either you have it repaired, although the cost of this is likely to be higher than the quick charger itself, or you buy a new one and dispose of the faulty one.

  • Tip 1: Pay attention to compatibility. As mentioned earlier, compatibility is very important to ensure that you can charge your device safely and quickly.
  • Tip 2: Do not charge overnight. Your device will usually be fully charged in less than 3 hours with a fast charger. Therefore, if you charge overnight, your device will hang unnecessarily on the quick charger and lose battery power.
  • Tip 3: Only use your quick charger when you need it fast. If you have some time to spare, we recommend using a conventional charger. This will save your battery.

Can my quick charger explode?

Normally, a fast charger should not explode because it is designed for higher power. However, due to manufacturing defects or external conditions such as high heat, an explosion can occur.

So you should be aware that a quick charger can explode in very rare cases.

If you are concerned that your quick charger may explode, you can watch it and check the temperature development. It is normal for a quick charger to get warm, but it should not get very hot. If it does, switch it off immediately and consult a professional about what to do.
