  • Minerals: The fruit also contains a variety of minerals. These include potassium, calcium, magnesium, phosphate, iron and zinc. Minerals are not only responsible for bone tissue, but also keep the fluid balance stable and maintain the excitation conduction of the nerves.   • Secondary plant substances: The secondary plant substances in pomegranate extract include flavonoids, polyphenols and antioxidants. People with prostate problems(15) are recommended to take 700 mg daily.

Although different dosage suggestions are circulating, scientific studies have proven that a high dose of pomegranate extract does not have more effects than a low dose.(18)

What is the shelf life of pomegranate extract?

In general, pomegranate extract has a shelf life of up to two years. This applies to capsules, powders as well as drops, as long as the bottle is still unsealed. You should make sure that it is stored in a cool and dry place.
