Solar lamps are universally applicable and can be both practical and decorative. Since they are so versatile, it is often not easy to find out which solar lamp is the right one for you. For this reason, we have selected criteria that you should consider when buying a solar lamp.


Depending on the environment, there are different models that are more or less suitable. Here you can roughly distinguish between solar lamps for indoor or outdoor use.

If you are looking for a solar lamp for indoors, these are usually more beautiful and more elegantly designed, as they do not have to be waterproof or generally weatherproof.

First of all, it is important to think about where you want to place your solar lamp.

However, you must also make sure that you place them in a place where they get enough sunlight, otherwise they will not work or will have to rely on their battery.

Solar lamps that are made for outdoor use are similar, but a little different. These lamps are usually a bit plainer, but instead brave wind and rain. During the day, they can absorb enough sunlight and when it gets dark, they light your way. As they are exposed to the tides for 24 hours, they should be robustly built.

This is a very important question. Under no circumstances should solar lamps be disposed of with normal household or residual waste because they contain a battery and other electrical components.
