By making the right choice for you, you can save money and also ensure that you don't give your body anything it doesn't need. Therefore, always look for high quality and ask to see the manufacturer's certificates if necessary.

Dosage

The dosage of vitamin D3 K2 is important. Every body can produce part of the vitamin D3 K2 itself. To avoid an overdose, it is always advisable to consult your family doctor first.

Before taking vitamin D3 K2, sit down with your doctor and decide together on the right dosage. An overdose can be harmful to your health.

The doctor can then determine your vitamin D level as well as your vitamin K2 level and thus determine the correct dose. If you have an increased deficiency of vitamin D3 K2, your doctor can also prescribe higher doses than you would normally get in the drugstore or pharmacy. Vitamin K2 can be toxic at high doses.

If you eat a balanced diet and get enough vitamin D3 K2 from your diet, you should make sure that your vitamin D3 K2 supplement is low in dose.

How to take it

Vitamin D3 K2 can be taken in tablet and capsule form as well as in the form of drops or oils. The form of intake has no influence on the effectiveness of the vitamin D3 K2. You can therefore choose which form is most practical for you. The following forms are currently available on the market:

  • Capsules: Taking capsules is suitable for those who have problems swallowing, as capsules are much smaller than tablets.
  • Tablets: Tablets are probably the most classic form of ingestion. Because of the coating, they are more pleasant to the taste than other forms of intake.
  • Drops: Here you take the vitamin D3 K2 via a pipette. However, the drops usually do not have a good taste.
  • Powder: Vitamin D3 K2 in powder form is very versatile. You can simply mix it into food or drinks. In addition, you can dose the powder very well and individually.

Another important criterion for choosing the best vitamin D3 K2 supplement is quality. There are also some big differences in this criterion. Especially with vitamin K2, you should make sure that it is not synthetically produced but naturally processed.

When buying your preparation, also pay attention to the expiry date.

A naturally processed vitamin 2 offers a much better absorption of the food supplement. In addition, the naturally processed preparation has a higher bioavailability. Another indication of the good quality of the vitamin D3 K2 preparation is the D3 content. The higher the content, the higher the quality of the product.

Suitability for allergy sufferers, vegans and vegetarians

Allergy sufferers, vegetarians and vegans in particular should always pay attention to the ingredients of the vitamin D3 K2 preparation. In some cases, the use of vitamin D3 K2 can cause allergic reactions. So you should always make sure that the supplements do not contain gluten or lactose.

Since vitamin D3 is a compound that is found almost exclusively in animal foods, vegans and vegetarians in particular must make sure that their vitamin D3 K2 preparation is also of purely vegetable origin. Vitamin D3 is important for a strengthened immune system. Only through a strong immune system can the body fight off diseases and stay healthy. Especially in winter, many people have a vitamin D deficiency due to little contact with the sun and thus become ill more quickly. • Regulation of hormone production

Interaction of vitamin D3 and K2

When looking for a vitamin D supplement, one often comes across the combination of the two vitamins D3 and K2.
